Returns Policy

Our returns policy is valid for 14 days from receipt of goods. If 14 days lapsed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange

Under the required Australian Consumer Laws, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind, however you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem.

This is when the item:

  • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
  • is unsafe
  • is significantly different from the sample or description
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any difference in value.


To be eligible for a return or refund, your item must be unused, unopened and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.  

We do not accept returns for change of mind.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)

In order to request a return, please first contact us via sales@myliquorcabinet.com.au stating your order number, and reason for return request.  If a refund is approved, once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@myliquorcabinet.com.au.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@myliquorcabinet.com.au and we will provide you with instructions to process your return.

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 185 Swanston Street, Melbourne, VIC, 3000, Australia.  As the good are fragile, you are responsible for ensuring they are packaged for a safe transit.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund and My Liquor Cabinet coordinate the return of the goods, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.  This excludes returns that are as a result of a packing error.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
